We don't know what each day will bring us.
As I write this, amidst family visits, juggling the needs of others, timing and tomorrow, it seems the Universe wants me to have a cold. I'm fueled right now by an earlier Benadryl and a more recent brandy, so please forgive me any typos you see. (I have backspaced quite a few times already).
I tried to grab a nap in-between spending some time with family and the next visit again with family, followed by a celebration at my Dad's Church. But of course, my mind is moving in really fast motion right motion right now.
I want to celebrate tomorrow with the ones I love the most in the world. I want to show them in the ways I can how much they mean to me. It is not about how much I spent on them, (although I still "balance" the amount between my children). Or about which words I use to convey to the newest members who have joined our tribe.
It is about letting everyone know that they are welcome, that I am blessed by knowing them, that I hope they can forgive me my failings, because for whatever reason that we might not quite know yet, that we have been given to each other for a reason.
To teach, to learn, to set an example, to forgive, to allow in.
We all so easily live each day, without much thought, doing our thing, making it through another day.
But we have such impact, by what we do, what we say or don't say, what we give from our hearts. And we need each other.
For tomorrow, let us all....just give.
So for my closest people, some whom I came from, some whom I gave life to, some whom were given to me by the grace of the Universe. Thank you. Thank you for what you have given me, for the hugs we have shared, for what I have not yet had the courage to tell you, for what is still coming.
Tomorrow, let us just rejoice for the opportunity for what is to come. (Tweet This)
Whether you will be celebrating in a Church tonight/tomorrow, or at home tonight with friends and family, or sitting alone with a pizza watching a movie tonight, may you be blessed. (I have been all three and there is a tomorrow. Believe.)
Now, close your eyes and wish.
May the Spirit of happiness be with you. (Tweet This)
Thank you for your support over the past year and Good Night.
