March Create – oh so late but still Pretty

Yes, I am late posting for March. Ridiculously late, and shame-faced but here it is finally.

Spring has (maybe) arrived in our northern climate. Although we have put away our winter boots and pulled on our sandals, we anticipate that Mother Nature could have the final laugh. We could no doubt, be fooled with a dump of snow in May as we have been in the past.

Undaunted, the colours of Spring beckoned me, and armed with four bunches of flowers I brought Spring inside.

First, gather the favourite vessels. Short and squat, with coloured glass pebbles. Blue pottery, a gift from a co-worker encouraging love (thanks Kaz). Broad and tinted a gentle touch of green, with shells from around the world at the bottom. And lastly, delicately shaped crystal in memory of a Mom.

Mixed, matched, cut, trimmed, placed, changed, smiled! Placed throughout our rooms, to catch the light, and to create a moment to Pause.

A Time for all Things - Painted in Flowers

Oh my gosh Hydrangeas, Victoria

When I gave up my Adirondack chair, the garden gate I rescued from an alley, my favourite perennials, and the birdhouse, my friends asked me "Won't you miss your garden?".

Somehow, I knew that I would always be blessed!
