The Kingdom of Magic

Setting a new goal, can start tomorrow or maybe next week.
Until then, let's savour and relish the journey you've taken to get to where you stand today.

Because starting each new goal, takes courage and sometimes you are just feeling your way in the dark.

but before you know it, you gain momentum, and Fireworks light your imagination.

There are like-minded on the same pathway, and you stay together because you all Believe!

And although, you might look different from each other....you really are all the same inside.

It might be difficult at times but you keep the faith as you are surrounded by "your people".

And the best part of all, is that you get encouragement from the most unexpected places.

Medals are FANTASTIC but may each day following also be full of Magic.

For some fun entertainment Downtown Disney
For some great pasta Portabello
For a good rest Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter

All Running Shoes Accounted For

Congrats to all, everyone safe and ready to celebrate!

13.1 miles/21 km = Donald Duck
26.2 miles/42 km = Mickey Mouse
The half-marathon on Saturday followed by the full-marathon today is just plain Goofy.

Yesterday was my first half-marathon, and what a place to do it, walking and taking photographs through Disneyworld. Participants from 46 countries sharing the road together in their common goal of fitness, raising funds to support lymphoma and leukemia research.

I am so proud to have been a part of this event. Volunteers who danced, directed traffic, cheered you on and handed out band-aids, thank you, thank you, thank you. You share in our medals today.

To all the Goofy medal winners out there (especially my favorite guy), a big CONGRATULATIONS, you are awesome.

There's only one of you, but look how much we can accomplish together.

It is indeed, a small world after all.

Walking in a small World

Hours of training, more "gear" than a person should know about, socks that matter, we're almost there.

Adults with hearts of children.

Disneyworld, we're coming. Are you ready for us?
